It has been a  full week of very active top sports watching on the screen.

Of course on Wednesday we had the State of Origin with a home ground win & Billy a Queenslander taking out the man of the series.

It’s the last game & result that counts & let’s not forget Kevin Walters the coach.

Of course we have the FIFA world cup & yes it means that the mighty do fall in a knockout tournament.

There is the so called  Billion dollar France team & we wonder how that is defined .

As many watch the EPL there is interest in how the English team will go. We hear the name of Southgate & his waistcoat & how he has brought his young team so far.

Croatia, a team that we suspect wasn’t a favourite is through to the final & how did Croatia find the chemistry to meld the players together. Was it the coach?

The very big global story of course has been in Chang Rai in Thailand.

Those 12 soccer players called the Wild Boars & their coach in the cave for 17 days & 4 Km in.

We all watched & wondered ‘If they would make it’ & prayed & it was the great good will story that we all needed to have.

It was uplifting with the world watching & heroes were made.

The world  felt better for it.

Thanx to Dr. Richard Harris & the SEALS from many countries acting as a team & was the Thai governor the coach.

Who trained all these professionals’?

It was mentioned on social media that maybe Dr. Richard Harris  would be Australian of the Year.

Or ‘There are growing calls for divers Richard Harris and Craig Challen to be recognised with the civilian equivalent of the VC.’

It was also suggested that maybe the Wild Boars could watch the FIFA Final live.

Now let’s watch  if that happens.

That would be a win.

Yes sir.

Then  there is Wimbledon & the players who all have coaches.

Serena  & Venus had their father Richard as coach & according to top performance coach Marcus  they played no matched  until  they were 15.

Yes sir.
